SD and SIM Cards: What is the Difference?

A SIM card is only compatible with GSM devices, such as cell phones and tablets, while an SD card is compatible with a wide range of electronic devices, such as digital cameras, camcorders, game consoles, music players and more. Furthermore, a SIM card can be used in multiple countries, while an SD card is only compatible with devices in the country it was purchased from.
